Rules
We ask that you read these rules completely before registering. If you have any questions, visit the FAQ board or PM a Staff member. Any breaking of these rules will result in a warning to a suspension of your account. If multiple rule-breaking occurs, Admins have the right to ban your account from Mercy Before Mankind.
1. You MUST be 13 years of age or older in order to sign-up and post here. This is something you agree to when you first register at the board.
2. Do NOT harass any member of this site. If you are reported, your account as well as your IP address will be banned from use on this site. We will not tolerate harassment.
3. Listen to your staff members. If they inform you of something wrong with a post, signature, avatar, etc...fix it. Don't talk back towards them unless you are asking for an explanation. We will gladly inform you of why we believe something is wrong.
4. No multiple characters. If you wish to have another character, consult the FAQ thread concerning Multiple characters. Follow what it says and then PM an Administrator. If they feel you have met the requirements, then they will grant you permission.
5. We ask that you do not give out ANY passwords to any location. They are password protected for a reason.
6. No one-lining. We ask that you keep your post at least semi-para. However, para and multi-para is recommended for advancing plot lines.
7. This board is PG to PG-13. If there is something above these ratings in a post it will be editted out with a note to the writer. If you wish to RP anything over those ratings, PM an Admin and they will create a sub-board that is password protected (with some exceptions). However, the thread will be deleted once the plot is finished.
8. Keep your personal information secret. If you wish to openly give out the information, be warned.
9. Advertising shall only be done in designated boards. Any others will be deleted or moved, depending on the number of times it occurs.
10. If you have an issue with a member of staff, confront them. Dont flame them in the OOC boards or anywhere else. If they made a mistake, they will admit it. If they believe what they did was right, drop the subject.
11. All powers must be approved by a member of staff. If you are abusing what powers you have, you will be banned.
12. Your character is yours. Do not control anyone's character. No godmodding or auto-ing.
13. You are required to post once a week. We do not want any inactive accounts just sitting there. All of our members should be active. If you will not be able to post, thats fine. Just post a thread in the General board so everyone knows.
